How would i ask the hairdresser ...?

i really like rihanna's new mohawk look but i don't want to much hair cut off and i also want to put a design on the side...i just need the perfect way to ask so i am crystal clear on the cut...i want it low but not fade like...can any one just help me put that in to a clear concise questionHow would i ask the hairdresser ...?

Maybe you could show her a picture of Rihanna's hair cut, and then show (using the picture) how you would like to alter it. Tell her you do not want it that short. Do not feel obliged to ask it in one question, hairdressers want to give you what you want, so take all the time you need to describe it to her! :)
Get a pic of the haircut and show it to her and say this is exactly what i want get a pic of front side and back
