How about to get HER hair cut at a nice salon, away from work? Or something relaxing, like a manicure or pedicure someplace else? I would think that its a lot like the saying 'the cobbler's children have no shoes';, after she does it all day, she isnt going to want to do her own or hang out at work. Or, you could get her a nice gift certificate to a restaurant, so that she can relax after a hard day cutting hair. I would think that getting 'service'; instead of having to give service would be a wonderful gift.Xmas Gift For Hairdresser?
For the holidays, you should ';tip'; your hairdresser the cost of one hair cut or color or whatever she does for you.
An extra little something personal is always nice.
Last year I got my hairdresser a gift card for Starbucks and an ornament. She loved it! I would suggest something like that...
i would give them a gift card to a restaurant they might like or a gift card to the mall or something.
maybe a gift box or basket thing from bath and body works...
homemade cookies, or candies... like peppermint bark...
something really cool to put at her stand/station
cash most like that or buy them something in the range of the tip or better like a scarf or good glove if its cold there or tickets to a show or a gift certificate for their favorite resturant
How about a ';gift card'; of some sort ? Cash is always good as well....we could all use more of that :)

3. A Bundle Of Flowers
Those r my usual options but if the person likes to be accessorized then:
1. A neclace or bracelet made by u
2. A cute winter coat ( is she or doesnt already have one )
3. A variety of finger nail polishes
If the person loves to shop and stay with all the latest trends then:
1. A gift card 4 Kaufmanns, Macys, or JC Penny
2. One of the cutest shirts that were on sale
3. Bedazzler jewel inserter
if the peson loves music then:
1. A gift card 4 F.Y.E or any other good music store
2. A mixed CD with some of her favorite artists on it
3. A small little stereo with a CD and tape place
If the person is a brainiac then:
1. A book called The Davinci Code
2. A set of books on CD or Cassette
3. Bookmarks that u made urself ( make more then one )
U could also give her a free trip to the spa or to get a manicure or pedicure
